Why challenge?
Questioning is not disrespect -
it's intellectual freedom.
Challenging a belief doesn't mean rejecting it automatically. It means testing it with critical mind, considering alternative explanations, and looking for contradictions.
"A mind that questions is a mind that grows"

How to Challenge a Belief
THREE KEY PRACTICES
01
02
Ask Critical Questions
What does't make sense? What's missing?
03
Consider Alternatives
What other explanations could there be?
Look for Contradictions
Are there hallucinations in the belief or sources?
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Example: The Divine Right of Kings
The idea that kings ruled by divine was once widely accepted. In this step, you would challenge it by:
Asking if there is evidence of divine authority.
Considering alternative explanations (political power).
Looking for contradictions (different religions, conflicting claims)
Examining who benefited from this belief.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS
Test Your Thinking
What questions does this belief raise for me?
01
Are there alternative explanations?
02
What contradictions can I find?
03
What might I be overlooking?
04
Am I accepting this belief out of fear, tradition, or evidence?
